We are seeking a dedicated Education Assistant to join HCOS in providing personalized program support for students in grades 4 to 8 for the 2026-27 school year. The role involves working closely with Home Learners, delivering behavioral and academic interventions, and building connections with families and staff. Your expertise will foster an inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support social and academic learning of students

• Mentor students individually or in small groups

• Collaborate with staff on personalized learning plans

• Build relationships with families and educators

• Assist in achieving IEP goals with the support team

Requirements:

• Orton-Gillingham certification preferred

• Experience in education or child/youth support

• Valid Certified Educational Assistant certificate is an asset

• Strong alignment with Biblical attributes

• Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills
