Join Heritage Christian Online School as a Dynamic Education Assistant, supporting students' development in a flexible part-time contract role based in South Surrey, BC.

At HCOS, we are looking for a talented Education Assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. This part-time position involves guiding grades 4-8 Home Learners, providing them with behavioral and academic support, and facilitating their individual learning needs. You will collaborate with teaching staff to deliver tailored educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor students in their social, academic, and spiritual journeys

• Connect with learners individually and in small groups

• Support personalized learning through collaboration with teachers

• Build strong community ties with families and staff

• Help realize IEP goals as part of a supportive team

Requirements:

• Preferred Orton-Gillingham certification

• Education or background in child/youth support

• A valid Certified Educational Assistant certificate is beneficial

• Strong interpersonal skills aligned with HCOS values

• Experience differentiating learning for various proficiency levels
