In this on-call position, your role will involve working closely with teachers and school staff to support Indigenous children and youth facing challenges. You'll collaborate to create Individual Education Plans, facilitate student integration into classrooms, and engage families to enhance parent-school relations. Key Responsibilities:

• Work individually to enhance classroom participation

• Monitor students for behavioral and emotional growth

• Collaborate with staff on effective intervention strategies

• Document and maintain records for student services

Requirements:

• Diploma in Child and Youth Care or equivalent

• Understanding of behavioral challenges faced by Indigenous youth

• Excellent ability to build relationships with families

• Knowledge of the Grief/Trauma Cycle

• Commitment to Indigenous principles and values
