Senior High School Math Teacher Position

Join Oxford Learning Ocean Park as a part-time Senior High School Math Teacher-Tutor for Grades 11 and 12. Utilize your math skills to foster students’ academic success and confidence.

This teaching position at Oxford Learning calls for motivated individuals passionate about mathematics. You should be comfortable instructing students on advanced math topics, including calculus and data management. This role focuses on delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons during after-school hours and on Saturdays to help students flourish in their understanding of math.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and support up to 3 students simultaneously

• Follow established Oxford Learning methodologies

• Document post-lesson notes for student progress

• Provide regular updates to students’ guardians

• Maintain a supportive and encouraging environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field

• Prior experience tutoring or teaching math to Grades 11-12

• Exceptional communication skills

• Strong ability to manage multiple students

• Must commit through end of term in June
