In the Faculty of Trades and Technology, you will deliver essential training for students, focusing on both classroom instruction and hands-on experience in a fully equipped automotive shop. Familiarizing yourself with the curriculum and utilizing Moodle for online training management is key to engaging students effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction in automotive foundations and apprenticeship
• Engage students in both theory and shop activities
• Conduct prep work including grading and assessments
• Utilize Moodle for managing online learning components
• Collaborate with faculty for curriculum enhancement
Requirements:
• Certification as BC Automotive Service Technician with IP RSE
• Minimum five years of varied automotive repair experience
• Proficient communication skills with students
• Teaching experience preferred
• Motivation to support diverse learners
