The Teacher must be a dedicated, passionate, and adaptable educator who creates a nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered learning environment. Operating at a 0.20 FTE capacity, the initial assignment will be responsible for fostering the academic, spiritual, and social development of Grade 7 students, with a specific focus on core Humanities curriculum areas (such as English and Social Studies), while supporting students through a pivotal transitional school year.

• Instructional Excellence:
  Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Grade 7 Humanities that align with the BC Ministry of Education’s standards and a Biblical worldview. Target core Humanities subjects to drive academic growth, literacy, and critical thinking.
• Classroom Culture & Management:
  Create a safe, positive, and stimulating environment that encourages student participation, models servant leadership, and addresses the unique social-emotional needs of Grade 7 students.
• Assessment & Support:
  Evaluate student progress through diverse methods and provide individualized support to ensure every child reaches their learning goals.

  Collaboration:
  
  Work effectively and communicate seamlessly with parents, students, and colleagues. Demonstrate strong organizational skills to effectively manage a part-time schedule or job‑share environment.

  BA Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a relevant specialty or experience teaching middle‑school aged children (Grade 6–9).
