Position: Secondary School Careers and Electives Teachers Needed!
Overview  Khalsa Secondary School is seeking candidates for four Career Education and Electives Teacher positions for our Sikh faith-based school located demic teachers do not have to be observers of the faith. Teachers from all diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. We are an IB MYP authorized World School and an AP Level 2 school. We are a growing school with a lot of opportunities.

Our teachers are supported and have a prep in each semester.
Currently, we have four Career Education and/or Electives teacher openings for September 2025. Please indicate the position you are interested in on your cover letter.

Salary and Benefits  Salary:
Starting salary of $6,400 per month. Other salary benefits are available for this position. Salary for CoQ teachers may be influenced by the Teacher Certification Branch (BC) requirements for a CoQ.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum

Utilize a variety of teaching methods to ensure all students understand the material

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Assess student progress and provide feedback

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

Participate in parent–teacher meetings and school events

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

BC teaching certification

Proven experience teaching related subjects (preferred)

Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans and grading

Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues

Ability to tailor teaching methods for diverse learning styles
