Western Community College is in search of a knowledgeable Licensed Pharmacist to instruct pharmacology courses in Surrey. This role emphasizes engaging teaching with a focus on hands-on learning and student support.
As a Licensed Pharmacist, you'll educate students in both community and hospital settings. Ideal candidates will have a solid practical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for guiding Pharmacy Technicians. Your teaching will help shape future professionals in the field of pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures that align with course objectives
• Prepare engaging lesson plans and materials
• Assess student assignments and exams accurately
• Provide feedback to support student learning
• Participate in curriculum development and updates
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Pharmacist in BC
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Pharmacist
• Classroom and clinical teaching experience preferred
• Completion of Provincial Instructor Diploma or similar
• Experience in teaching or training for two years
