Position: Part-Time Band Teacher for Grades 6 & 7

As part of the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese, this contract entails teaching band two days a week. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach instrument skills and band performance techniques

• Plan and execute engaging music lessons

• Manage student rehearsals and performances

• Collaborate with the school team to enhance music curriculum

• Inspire students to appreciate and pursue music

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certificate is essential

• Previous experience in music teaching preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for music

• Complete application requirements as specified
