Join KPU as a Student Assistant to support new international students during their transition. As a Peer Mentor, you will conduct weekly check-ins, respond to inquiries, and help in building strong social networks. This position requires regular interaction with students, helping them navigate campus resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct weekly check-in emails to your student cohort
• Connect students with necessary academic support services
• Hold online office hours for ongoing discussions
• Plan and host monthly social gatherings
• Keep your supervisor updated on student interactions
Requirements:
• KPU GPA of 2.5 or higher and in good academic standing
• At least 2 semesters completed and a minimum of 18 credits
• Proven experience in student life or mentoring roles
• Familiarity with campus resources for international students
• Strong communication skills for student engagement
