Khalsa School seeks a dedicated Woodworking Teacher for a full-time role starting September 1st, 2026. Covering Woodwork 8 through 12, you'll inspire students and cultivate their creativity in woodworking. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education and be eligible for certification in British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Woodwork 8-12 as per the BC curriculum
• Implement engaging woodworking lessons
• Set up and manage classroom effectively
• Operate woodworking machinery safely
• Engage in student assessments and progress tracking
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or higher
• BC Teaching Certification required
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Ability to commute or relocate to Surrey, BC
• Experience with woodworking machinery essential
