Regent Christian Academy Pathways Education Coordinator

Become the Pathways Education Coordinator at Regent Christian Academy, where you’ll support diverse learning needs through personalized instruction and collaboration. This full-time role is vital in a faith-based educational setting.

In this multifaceted position, you'll work directly with students, teachers, and families, ensuring that each learner has access to tailored programming based on their unique IEP goals. Utilizing frameworks like Universal Design for Learning (UDL), you will provide direct instruction while overseeing the Pathways program, which encourages student engagement and academic success. Your contributions will not only enhance learning but also build a nurturing community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Target instruction for students accessing IEPs and learning goals

• Monitor and manage IEP development and compliance

• Create and implement social and emotional support strategies

• Facilitate IEP meetings and communicate with families

• Collaborate on safety and behavior planning with staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education;
Master’s preferred

• Valid BC Teaching Certification or comparable

• Proven experience in inclusive educational settings

• Strong communication and organizational abilities

• Commitment to a student-centered, trauma-informed approach
