Elevate educational experiences as an Instructional Designer for BC Hydro based in Surrey, British Columbia. This temporary role focuses on the development of both virtual and in-person training solutions.
You will collaborate with various educational stakeholders to create assessment tools and instructional materials while ensuring adherence to adult learning practices. This position also involves producing technical training videos and supporting virtual training sessions to enhance learner engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop training materials and documents using standard templates
• Assess adult learning tools and align with objectives
• Update training materials in collaboration with SMEs
• Provide technical support during virtual courses
• Conduct research on current instructional design trends
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent
• Three years’ experience in a related training role
• OR Diploma in Instructional Design with four years’ work
• Familiarity with instructional design processes
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license preferred
