Position: K-5 Music Teacher Role at Regent Christian Academy
Join Regent Christian Academy as a dedicated K-5 Music Teacher, focusing on developing a love for music in young students. This full-time position is based on-site at the Sullivan Campus, emphasizing a balanced approach to education and spiritual mentorship.

You will design and deliver a curriculum that captivates Kindergarten to Grade 5 students, incorporating instruments and movement into lessons.

Your role will include assessing student growth, creating an organized classroom, and fostering spiritual development in line with RCA’s mission. Collaborating with fellow educators is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging music curricula for K-5 children

• Assess and report on student progress regularly

• Maintain an inclusive classroom environment for all learners

• Mentor students spiritually through music education

• Direct elementary music performances and school events

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

• Eligibility for a British Columbia Teaching Certificate

• Proven experience teaching music to young students preferred

• Piano or guitar skills beneficial for classroom activities

• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration
