This tutoring position is ideal for those who enjoy working with teens in a one-on-one environment. Tutors will follow established practices while engaging students in Grades 8-12 math, Physics, and Chemistry. Evening availability is required, along with occasional weekends, making this perfect for students or those seeking flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and support up to three students at once
• Adhere to Oxford Learning’s methodologies in teaching
• Document lesson outcomes and student progress
• Keep daily communication updated regarding student needs
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• Experience tutoring high school math and science
• Strong writing and speaking skills in English
• Proficient math skills to assist varied learning levels
• Must be local or easily commutable to South Surrey
