Elevate maintenance operations as Chevron's Metals Craft Lead, focusing on craft competency and training within refinery settings. This role entails managing programs designed to enhance skills and general reliability.
As the Metals Craft Lead, your primary responsibility is to drive improvements in training and workforce development initiatives. With significant experience in metals craft disciplines, you will assess skill gaps, implement training strategies, and manage organizational objectives. This role also includes partnering with various leaders to enhance operational performance through effective learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform craft competency assessments and identify skill gaps
• Develop and implement craft competency gap closure plans
• Oversee and improve craft training program delivery
• Mentor mechanics on leadership and technical skills
• Collaborate on training curriculum using modern learning principles
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Five or more years in a relevant industrial craft role
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices
• Valid driver's license needed
• Experience in developing adult learning programs preferred
