Position SummaryOxford Learning Clayton Heights is seeking part‑time teacher‑tutors for our learning centre. The role is ideal for those who love working with students, enjoy numbers and equations, and are passionate about helping others build mathematical skills.
Position Requirements- Work after school and evening hours (4:00 pm – 8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:00 am – 3:00 pm).
- Commit to the term ending in June; continuation through the summer is preferred.
- All lessons are pre‑planned; no lesson planning required before class.
- Full training in Oxford Learning’s proprietary philosophy and methods.
- In‑person work only; must be able to commute to the Surrey location.
- Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
- University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
- Good knowledge of the current Grades 8‑12 math curriculum, especially senior math (advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vectors).
- Some experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 8 to 12 (or equivalent) level.
- Strong English written and oral communication skills.
- Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding.
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.
- Teach up to three students at a time at varying levels.
- Deliver lessons in person; no online teaching.
- Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
- Fill in post‑lesson notes.
- Complete daily student communication updates.
- Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Part‑time
Salary$22 per hour
Schedule- Monday to Friday – 3 pm onwards based on student need.
