Shape young minds at Crescent Heights Academy in Surrey, BC, as a Full-Time Math Teacher for Grades 8-10. Engage students with inspiring lessons in an inclusive environment that promotes critical and compassionate thinking.
This position supports both the Middle Years Programme and High School programs commencing in September 2026. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Education and a valid BC teaching certificate. Collaboration with colleagues and effective communication with students and families are essential skills. A passion for inquiry-based instruction in a caring classroom environment is important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate to plan using the MYP framework
• Design engaging learning experiences for students
• Monitor and provide feedback on student progress
• Communicate regularly with families and peers
• Lead co-curricular activities and supervise events
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education and BC teaching certificate
• IB MYP training preferred
• Experience in intermediate/middle school settings
• Strong classroom management capabilities
• First Aid Certificate required
