Position: Creative Coding Instructor for K-5
Transform education at Newbridge Academy as a Creative Coding Instructor for K-5 students in the  school year. Empower young learners with the skills to thrive in a digital world.

In this part-time role, you will conduct weekly coding classes for children from Kindergarten to Grade 5. By delivering engaging, project-based lessons, you’ll introduce students to technical concepts like computational thinking and programming through interactive tools. The goal is to foster a fun and collaborative learning experience as students design their own projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead hands-on coding lessons tailored for young students

• Introduce programming basics using games and robotics

• Encourage creativity and teamwork in digital projects

• Adapt teaching strategies for different age levels

• Collaborate with colleagues for an engaging classroom environment

Requirements:

• Experience in teaching coding or similar subjects preferred

• Familiarity with coding platforms and educational robotics

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to inspire and excite students about technology

• Willingness to obtain a Criminal Record Check
