KPU seeks an Academic Advisor who will collaborate with students to promote retention and progression. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for student development. Experience in advising, particularly at a post-secondary institution, will be essential to empower students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with students to support academic and career success

• Provide guidance on educational progression and retention strategies

• Organize and present training activities and workshops

• Maintain student records using Banner or similar databases

• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Requirements:

• Completed an undergraduate degree

• Minimum of two years advising experience in post-secondary

• In-depth knowledge of educational systems and career pathways

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities

• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools
