Engaging K-5 Mandarin Teacher Position

Newbridge Academy is hiring an engaging K-5 Mandarin Teacher in South Surrey to foster a love for language among young students. Be part of a supportive teaching community.

As a part-time Mandarin Teacher at Newbridge Academy, starting September 2026, you will teach four 45-minute classes daily for Kindergarten to Grade
5. Create an interactive atmosphere that enhances speaking, writing, and listening skills in Mandarin. Tailor lessons to meet varying student needs and work collaboratively with other faculty members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Mandarin classes for K-5 with interactive content

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons

• Differentiate instruction to accommodate various abilities

• Assist with outdoor supervision of students

• Collaborate to strengthen student learning experiences

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English

• Preference for candidates with elementary teaching experience

• Experience with native and second language learners desired

• Energetic, student-focused teaching style

• Strong management and organizational capabilities
