Youth Health Promotion and Prevention Leader

Lead youth-focused health programs as a Prevention and Health Promotion Facilitator with PCRS in Delta. Facilitate initiatives that help youth make informed health choices and decisions.

In this full-time role, you will coordinate primary prevention programs across schools and communities in Delta, Ladner, and Tsawwassen. Your efforts will aim to create supportive environments that promote healthy lifestyles. Work closely with youth, schools, and community members to identify needs and develop impactful programs together.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process referrals and conduct intake assessments

• Provide resources and referrals to community services

• Model positive behaviors and values for youth

• Conduct health education and wellness workshops

• Plan healthy recreation and pro-social activities

Requirements:

• Training in health promotion and community engagement

• Familiarity with mental health and wellness practices

• Background in special needs education or related fields

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience in school or educational settings
