Join the Faculty of Academic and Career Preparation as an Academic Advisor at KPU and drive student success.

Your role will involve empowering KPU students through effective guidance.

This position is ideal for someone with a passion for education and at least two years of advising experience. As an Academic Advisor, you will collaborate closely with students to enhance their retention and educational development within KPU. Strong communication abilities and project management skills are key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with students to enhance their academic paths

• Advise on retention strategies and career opportunities

• Develop and lead training workshops and events

• Manage student information using Banner or databases

• Foster communication with diverse student populations

Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree is required

• Two years of advising experience in a post-secondary setting

• Strong understanding of educational landscapes and career options

• Proven initiative and responsibility in project management

• Proficient in MS Office and data navigation tools
