Chemistry Teacher at Guru Angad Dev School

Your responsibilities include fostering individual growth through diverse strategies, collaborating with colleagues, and incorporating First Nations principles into your teaching. You will also participate in the school’s co-curricular activities, making a positive impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement inquiry-based learning strategies in Chemistry

• Differentiate instruction to support individual needs

• Collaborate with other teachers on lesson planning

• Foster relationships with students, staff, and parents

• Set and pursue professional growth goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Education plus Bachelor of Science in Chemistry

• BC Ministry of Education Certification (Conditional or Professional)

• Strong understanding of current educational practices

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
