Inclusive Resource Teacher & IEP Coordinator

Join White Rock Christian Academy as an Inclusive Resource Teacher and Junior School IEP Coordinator. This full-time position is focused on supporting students with diverse learning needs in Metro Vancouver.

As the IEP Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering tailored educational plans for students facing various challenges. Your collaboration with teachers, families, and outside professionals will create inclusive learning experiences that promote growth and belonging. This position requires a genuine commitment to fostering each child's unique abilities and potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee case management for students with diverse needs

• Create and monitor individualized IEPs for meaningful participation

• Conduct individual and group lessons focusing on essential skills

• Collaborate with educators to enhance inclusive practices

• Keep communication ongoing with families and support staff

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate and ability to work in Canada

• Training or experience with Special Education preferred

• Experience with IEP development and implementation

• Strong collaborative skills with school teams
