Position: Educational Assistant for Home Learning
Join Traditional Learning Academy as an Educational Assistant, facilitating personalized learning experiences for students at home in Chilliwack, Ryder Lake area. Work one-on-one to empower children in their educational journey.

As an Educational Assistant, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting diverse learners from September to June.

This role offers the chance to work closely with students and their families, providing tailored support that meets each child's individual needs. A focus on inclusive education is key to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one educational support in home settings

• Work with families to customize learning experiences

• Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized programs

• Ensure effective communication with students and families

• Assist students with diverse learning needs and disabilities

Requirements:

• Background in Special Education or relevant studies

• Experience with students with disabilities, especially ASD

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Proficient in Google Suite and video conferencing

Required:

valid Ministry of Justice criminal record check
