In this part-time role at Newbridge Academy, you will teach a combined Grade 8-9 class while implementing the British Columbia curriculum. This position allows for flexibility in lesson planning and the opportunity to create a dynamic science program that engages students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct science for combined Grade 8-9 classes following BC curriculum

• Plan and execute engaging, hands-on lessons

• Tailor instruction to meet individual student needs

• Provide assessments and communicate outcomes to parents

• Collaborate with faculty to support integrated learning

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent preferred

• Solid understanding of BC middle school science

• Teaching experience with Grades 8-9 preferred

• Student-centered, organized, and creative in teaching

• Authorized to work in Canada
