Part-Time Education Assistant

Join REGENT CHRISTIAN ONLINE ACADEMY as a part-time Education Assistant, helping Level 1 students in Surrey with personal care needs during their educational journey. This in-home role offers $28.23-$30.32 per hour for the  school year.

You will play an essential role in assisting students with daily personal care and fostering a supportive learning environment. Collaboration with educators and families is critical in this role, ensuring effective learning experiences tailored to each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance, including feeding and hygiene

• Support integration of therapy activities into daily routines

• Promote a positive and safe learning atmosphere

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff

• Maintain systematic documentation of student progress

Requirements:

• Education Assistant certification or related experience

• Experience with diverse learning and behavioral needs

• Strong interpersonal communication skills essential

• Current First Aid with CPR and AED certification required

• Commitment to Christian values in all professional conduct
