Your role involves vital collaboration with educators and families.
As an on-call worker, you will implement strategies that support behavioral and emotional growth for at-risk students. This includes active participation in Individual Education Plans and behavior management, fostering a sense of belonging within the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver tailored support for classroom engagement
• Facilitate students' gradual integration back to classes
• Collaborate with educators on behavioral strategies
• Participate in School Based Team discussions
• Engage parents in their children's education
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and two-year diploma in Child and Youth Care
• Experience in working with Indigenous children
• Knowledge of behavioral issues faced by youth
• Understanding of Indigenous culture and history
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
