Kwantlen Polytechnic University is hiring Student Tutors to foster academic success for peers on-site. In this part-time role, you will employ tailored tutoring methods to help fellow KPU students thrive.
As a Student Tutor, your efforts will directly impact the academic journey of others s role invites current students to leverage their subject knowledge while gaining invaluable experience in mentoring. Engagement with students will involve identifying barriers and suggesting innovative learning strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tutor in specific subjects following training completion
• Help students navigate course material and assignments
• Provide detailed feedback to improve academic work
• Identify supports needed for student success
• Promote services offered by the Learning Centre
Requirements:
• Current KPU student with at least a 3.0 GPA
• Completion of a minimum of 24 credits at KPU
• Ability to convey concepts effectively to students
• Friendly and committed to diverse student needs
• Provide references from two KPU faculty members
