Supervision Aide at Local Schools

Contribute to student welfare as a Supervision Aide at local schools, working up to five days weekly during lunch hours. This rewarding part-time role is well-suited for those passionate about working with children.

In this continuing assignment, you will monitor and supervise students during their lunch break across various school settings, promoting a safe and respectful environment. Ideal candidates include retirees, college students, and adults who can engage with youth and are available during lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor designated areas to ensure student safety

• Promote acceptable behaviors and address issues calmly

• Identify safety hazards in advance

• Keep high visibility while supervising students

• Respond to student behavior with patience and respect

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in English required

• Ability to apply good judgement and appropriate interventions

• Prior experience with school-aged children is beneficial

• First aid knowledge is an asset

• Capable of standing for your entire shift
