High School Math​/Science Teacher Position

Oxford Learning Ocean Park seeks a dedicated Teacher for Math and Science. This part-time, in-person role allows you to nurture 9-12 grade students in their learning journey.

In this position, you will tutor students after school and evenings while employing effective educational strategies. You'll create a welcoming atmosphere to support students' understanding of complex topics, from Algebra to Biology. A commitment through June or the summer is preferred for reliable support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate up to three students concurrently in math and science

• Adhere to Oxford Learning's teaching philosophy

• Document daily student progress with notes

• Foster a positive and professional learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field

• Experience with students aged 14–18 in tutoring roles

• Strong knowledge of current grade curricula

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple students effectively
