Power System Study Engineer and Modeling Engineers
Engineering Service Business Unit focuses on power system development, power system and substation consulting studies compliance testing services, as well as asset management solutions for electric utilities and other clients in the power industry. We are the vendor of the cutting‑edge power system analysis software package, DSATools™, which has been recognized globally as leading‑edge technologies and software platforms for dynamic security assessment of large complex power systems for both off‑line (system planning) and on‑line applications (near‑real‑time operation).
We are a globally recognized power system study consultant delivering a full spectrum of analysis and engineering services. Our expertise spans electromagnetic transient switching studies, power system planning and operations studies including transient, small‑signal, voltage, and frequency stability—post‑mortem system disturbance investigations, and generation/load interconnection studies.
We also develop and validate generator, renewable (wind/solar), and load models through field testing, and support comprehensive NERC compliance requirements (TPL, PRC, MOD, CIP, and more). In addition, we are equipped with a Real‑Time Digital Simulator (RTDS), enabling real‑time evaluation and testing of new control, protection, and communication schemes and devices.
Our Power System Study and Modeling Engineers play a key role in various types of power system studies and modeling work for renewables (wind, solar and BESS, etc.) and large industrial loads. We are seeking up to two Study Engineers to join our team of highly experienced power system experts and specialists. The successful candidate will conduct a wide range of power system studies and support ongoing software development efforts, contributing to innovative, high‑quality solutions for our clients.
