Process Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Process Engineer who will be working for a prominent utility company based in Surrey BC. This is a 5-days a week onsite role with occasional travel to site visits. The successful candidate will be working on sustainment projects within the organization - they will be responsible for 2 areas:
Execution (construction and design) and Project Development (adhering to the classifications of the AACE Front End Engineering work. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the station processes are working optimally and ensuring that the assets are operating efficiently. This individual will be responsible for engineering design & oversight, project execution, technical leadership, and stakeholder engagement. The individual must have their Professional Engineer Designation and hold their Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.

• Professional Engineering (P.Eng) Certification and Bachelor's of Engineering Required
• Open to candidates registered in other provinces who are willing to relocate to British Columbia
• 7-8 years of relevant experience is required

• Ideal for individuals comfortable balancing hands‑on engineering with project leadership responsibilities
• Industry Background
• Open to candidates from utilities or consulting backgrounds
• Prior experience working on station projects is highly valued
• Relevant Project Experience
• Experience on Fortis
  
  BC pipeline or station projects is a strong asset
• Familiarity with similar utility companies such as ATCO, Enbridge, TC Energy, etc is beneficial
