Project Manager – Electrical (Major Infrastructure Project)

Match Box Consulting Group is supporting a leading electrical contractor on a large-scale, multi-year infrastructure project in Metro Vancouver.

This role sits on a high-complexity public project with multiple stakeholders, tight scheduling, and heavy coordination requirements. Experience on transit or rail projects is a strong advantage, but comparable large-scale electrical project experience will also be considered.

If you’ve led complex electrical scopes where sequencing, cost control, and coordination matter, this is a chance to step into a visible, long-term build with real responsibility.

Why This Role
  • Work on a major public infrastructure project with long-term stability

  • Join a contractor known for delivering technically demanding electrical work

  • Exposure to systems-heavy, schedule-driven project environments

  • Structured project controls, reporting, and estimating support

  • A role with real ownership—not a coordinator or paper PM position

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage day-to-day execution of assigned electrical project scopes

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and client representatives

  • Prepare and manage schedules, RFIs, deliverables, and progress reporting

  • Track job costs, forecasts, and budgets against actual performance

  • Prepare look-aheads, billing documentation, and monthly reports

  • Support change management and scope adjustments

  • Coordinate closely with field teams, estimators, and leadership

  • Ensure constructability, sequencing, and documentation alignment

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of electrical project management experience

  • Transit or rail experience is a strong asset, but not mandatory

  • Experience delivering large, complex electrical projects (infrastructure, industrial, utility, institutional, or comparable)

  • Solid understanding of NEC and relevant local electrical codes

  • Ability to interpret and coordinate across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings

  • Proficiency with estimating tools (Accubid or similar)

  • Comfortable building and managing schedules in MS Project and/or Primavera

  • Organized, analytical, and comfortable operating in high-accountability environments

What’s In It For You
  • Competitive salary, paid weekly

  • Full extended health, dental, life, disability, and critical illness coverage

  • $1,200 annual wellness allowance for health and wellbeing expenses

  • Strong education and training support

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Long-term project stability on a landmark build
