Senior Electrical Engineer - P&C Design Focus

Leading the charge in energy innovation, our team seeks a Senior Substation Secondary Design Engineer with a P&C design focus. This hybrid role spans Surrey, Birmingham, Leeds, or Glasgow, offering a unique chance to shape the energy landscape.

In this position, you'll engage in substation design and collaborate with prominent clients such as Grid and SSEN. Your technical leadership will influence both FEED and Detailed Design processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering client relationships.

This role offers extensive training and chartership development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as a senior member of the Electrical Engineering team

• Establish strong connections with clients and stakeholders

• Lead technical aspects of P&C design packages and quality assurance

• Coordinate across teams and manage tender processes

• Participate in design and hazard review meetings

Requirements:

• Background in Electrical Engineering with P&C specialization

• Minimum of a 2.2 BEng in Electrical Engineering or similar

• Effective management of technical queries and tender submissions

• Solid communication skills with a business development perspective

• Openness to work on-site or from the office as required
