Contribute to safety excellence in the Surrey Langley Sky Train project as an EHS Advisor with South Fraser Station Partners.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance and effective safety training.
Reporting directly to the EHS Manager, the advisor will engage in various activities such as conducting site-specific safety orientations, performing audits, and executing emergency planning. You will also participate in training programs vital for fostering a strong safety culture while addressing and mediating health and safety issues that may arise on site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate safety training for staff and supervisors
• Conduct regular workplace safety audits and inspections
• Develop and implement safety plans and protocols
• Investigate accidents and provide corrective recommendations
• Liaise with external agencies for safety compliance
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of Health and Safety experience in construction
• CRSP and/or COR Auditor certification essential
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC legislation required
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Utilize your expertise to foster a strong safety culture on one of Metro Vancouver's key transit projects.
