Engineering Project Manager

Position: Engineering Project Manager City

Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, you will manage the Engineering Capital Program, including vital utilities and transportation improvements. This full-time role focuses on the project's lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Your vast expertise in capital projects and outstanding leadership will be instrumental in delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver infrastructure projects that are complex and strategically important

• Develop and oversee project procurement documents and practices

• Create detailed project plans with timelines and budgets

• Lead project teams and coordinate activities effectively

• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

• 8 years of relevant experience in the municipal sector

• Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
