Mechanical Estimator BC

Become a Mechanical Estimator at our Surrey, BC location. This full-time position requires expertise in estimating project costs and analyzing tenders to support the construction process.
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. You will prepare estimates, manage cash flow projections, and communicate with various stakeholders, such as engineers and contractors. This role mandates in-person work at our facility during the morning and day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare pre-qualification submissions for clients

• Analyze blueprints to determine work requirements

• Create detailed estimates for overhead and general expenses

• Project cash flow and financing needs for projects

• Communicate with various stakeholders about cost adjustments
Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate

• 1-2 years of estimating experience

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point

• Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Flexibility and organizational skills
