• Prepare engineering designs and drawings.
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Develop and prepare design sketches.
• Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates.
• Write specifications.
• Complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
• Examine drawings for conformity and errors.

• Education:
  
  College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
• Experience:
  
  1 year to less than 2 years.
• Computer & technology knowledge:
  Internet, Word processing software, Computer-aided design (CAD), AutoCAD, MS Office, Spreadsheet.
• Certifications:
  
  AutoCAD Certification, Civil engineering technology (CVT).

• Organized.
• Team player.

• Work under pressure.
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking.

• Permanent resident of Canada.
• Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit.
