As a Design Engineer I at MiTek, you will engage in designing truss components and repairs tailored to client specifications. This role requires a bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, along with a year of related experience. You will collaborate with engineers and troubleshoot design issues, ensuring safety and compliance with building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design field repairs for truss components
• Collaborate with customers on design methodologies
• Review and analyze truss design software results
• Assist customers in troubleshooting design issues
• Engage with engineers, architects, and officials on projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• Up to 1 year of engineering experience
• Proficiency in technical skills including calculus and algebra
• EIT certification preferred
• Ability to read prints and schematics
