Lead Mechanical Engineer at Arlo

Join Arlo as a Lead Mechanical Engineer to design innovative wireless security solutions. In this full-time role, you'll oversee product engineering from concept to production.

As a vital member of Arlo's Product Design team, you'll leverage your expertise in mechanical engineering to craft high-volume wireless security cameras for retail and small businesses. Your work will span product design, evaluation, and testing, ensuring compliance with performance, cost, and schedule goals while collaborating with various teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee product design, performance, and documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development

• Ensure performance and cost goals are achieved

• Manage relationships with suppliers and consultants

• Travel internationally for project needs (10-15%)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent

• 8+ years in product design or mechanical engineering

• Extensive 3D CAD experience, especially with Creo and Solid Works

• Proven experience with high-volume consumer electronics design

• Effective project management and communication skills
