Project Lead – Instrumentation Engineering

Solaris Management Consultants is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer – Project Lead in Surrey, British Columbia. You will lead the engineering of controls systems for various industrial endeavors including LNG projects.

This position is ideal for an individual with extensive experience in Automation and Instrumentation. Your technical leadership will drive quality designs and successful project outcomes while managing client interactions and expectations with precision. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct instrumentation and controls engineering initiatives

• Act as primary contact for I&C project alignments

• Oversee project schedules and resource logistics

• Participate in HAZOP/SIL analyses as needed

• Prepare technical specifications and project estimates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field

• Minimum 10 years in related engineering roles

• Strong understanding of engineering codes and standards

• Proficient in programming control systems

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
