As a Ground Systems Engineer at Vantor, you will be instrumental in supporting the U.S. Space Force with critical Missile Warning and intelligence systems. Candidates should have at least ten years in DoD acquisitions or systems engineering and five years working on ground systems for aerospace applications. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to coordinate across clients and teams during system design and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform systems engineering analysis and validation for satellite systems
• Lead and mentor teams on engineering tasks and projects
• Develop test plans and verify systems integration activities
• Create technical specifications and supporting documents
• Ensure early identification of system issues for timely mitigation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields
• 10+ years in weapon systems acquisitions
• 5+ years in ground systems engineering
• Secret clearance required
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
