At Arcadis, the Track Design Lead role involves 5-7 years of proven track engineering experience. This position is pivotal in developing designs that comply with regulatory standards while overseeing collaboration with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Enhance your project and technical management skills through challenging design tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design railway infrastructure compliant with AREMA, Transport Canada, and UIC regulations
• Prepare alignment plans considering critical design factors
• Facilitate design reviews and resolve technical challenges
• Conduct simulations and analyses for feasibility assessments
• Generate accurate engineering documentation for clients and regulators
Requirements:
• 5-7 years in track engineering or civil infrastructure context
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or equivalent engineering discipline
• Proficient in Open Rail Designer, Micro Station, or similar software
• Knowledge of relevant railway standards and regulations
• Capable of effective communication and teamwork across disciplines
