What you must have- Valid Registered Professional Engineer seal in BC and Alberta
- Currently residing in the lower mainland
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience with wood-frame construction and residential projects
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Perform structural analysis and design for residential, light commercial, and agricultural projects
- Prepare structural reports, calculations, drawings, and technical documents
- Review, seal, and issue engineering documents for new projects
- Collaborate with technical staff, clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Provide construction support, site reviews, and attend occasional site meetings
- Contribute to a variety of building and component designs, including:
- Engineered wood systems
- Trusses and beams
- Greenhouses
- Awnings
- Overhead doors and gates
- Home renovations
- Residential and commercial properties
- A good standing P. Eng with a valid BC and Alberta Seal (required)
- Minimum 6+ years of structural engineering experience
- Experience with residential single-family homes
- Knowledge of wood, steel, and concrete design
- Proficiency with the BC and Alberta Building Code
- Experience with AutoCAD (preferred)
- Experience with Wood Works software (preferred)
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork
