Senior Structural Engineer at Horace Engineering

We are searching for a Senior Structural Engineer, P.Eng., to join our dedicated Surrey team. In this role, you'll leverage at least 5 years of structural engineering expertise to manage multiple projects, perform design analyses, conduct site reviews, and mentor junior staff. Your technical judgement combined with strong communication will contribute to our commitment to quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural analysis for various building types

• Prepare detailed engineering documents and reports

• Review and seal engineering documents for new projects

• Attend client meetings and provide technical guidance

• Track project hours and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience

• P.Eng. with BC seal and AutoCAD proficiency

• Knowledge of seismic design and BCBC standards

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Own transportation for site visits
