The Role

You will have the opportunity to be part of the opening team for Live Nation’s newest Canadian venue, History. A state of the art venue, with a capacity of up to 2,500 and the goal of hosting over 200 concerts and events annually, you will play a big role in truly making this venue a Toronto staple. Responsibilities

Perform various opening and closing busser duties. Ensuring the servers and the kitchen are consistently up to appropriate standards for flawless execution
Run food accurately to tables in a seamless, gracious manner
Stay informed of current menu items (including allergen & nutritional information)
Keep floor neat, clean and free of food, trash and other obstacles throughout shift
Focus on the cleanliness and sanitation of the space, including but not limited to: storage areas, garbage spaces and other working spaces
Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe and clean environment
Ensure all kitchen utensils are organized and stocked for efficient use and access
Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Create an atmosphere where coworkers are connected and committed through seamless communication and the willingness to help others win
Maintain thorough communication with F7B Management team on par levels and various other food & beverage needs

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience as a busser or similar role in a high-volume environment
Ability to carry 2 or more plates around venue and comfortable carrying them up stairs
Takes great initiative and is able to anticipate the needs of servers and kitchen staff
Knowledge of food safety protocols & kitchen equipment is an asset, but not required
Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
A passion for live events and desire to ensure every customer experience is exceptional!

Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
