At Westland, we're looking for a Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping Westland’s growth strategy by leading financial analysis, valuations, due diligence, and transaction execution for acquisitions across Canada.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $110,400 to $138,000 based on a 40 hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity. Westland also offers a competitive annual short-term incentive program that enables employees to share in the rewards of the business and emphasizes the measures that are key to our success.

, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our acquisition strategy and leading start‑to‑finish deal execution on buy‑side transactions including financial and business due diligence, target valuation and financial modeling, and preparation of transaction documentation. - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- You have earned your CPA designation (CFA, CBV designations will be considered a strong asset)
- You bring 5+ years of direct experience in Mergers & Acquisitions transaction environment, such as private equity, Big 4 Financial Advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, corporate development
- Your advanced Excel skills and data analysis expertise allow you to uncover valuable insights.
- You're proficient in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word, helping you craft compelling presentations and documents.
- Your analytical and critical thinking abilities are exceptional, enabling you to solve complex problems and think outside the box.
