Position: Constituency Office Advisor with Jagrup Brar
Support the Surrey-Fleetwood community as a Constituency Advisor under MLA Jagrup Brar. Enhance community relations and assist constituents with their provincial concerns.

In this role, you'll provide personal advocacy for constituents while managing the Constituency Office’s operations. You'll create engaging communication materials to inform the community about government policies and support outreach initiatives. A deep understanding of local demographics and issues is essential for effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for constituents with provincial government services

• Facilitate community outreach and support for the MLA

• Develop communications such as newsletters and mailings

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Constituency Office

• Recruit and mentor volunteers and students in the office

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the New Democratic Party and government roles

• Strong writing and communication skills for diverse audiences

• Experience in advocacy and information strategies

• Proficiency in social media and design tools

• Ability to accommodate weekend and holiday travel
